Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee

We understand that shipping a live animal can feel stressful—and that’s why we’ve built a shipping process you can trust. Every order is handled with the highest standard of care, from temperature monitoring and packaging to secure delivery and pickup. Below you’ll find our complete shipping policy and live arrival guarantee information.


Overnight Shipping

All live animal purchases include free overnight shipping to the lower 48 United States, unless otherwise noted.

  • We ship using FedEx Priority Overnight, which ensures your new ball python arrives by the next morning after shipment.
  • Shipping days are typically Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.
  • You will receive tracking information and FedEx Hub pickup instructions before your shipment is released.

Note: If the animal was purchased at a discounted price (such as through a promotional sale or special offer), the seller reserves the right to either:

  • Continue to offer free shipping, or
  • Provide a custom shipping quote and apply a shipping fee at their discretion

You will be notified in advance if a shipping charge will apply to your order.


Live Arrival Guarantee

We proudly offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all of our animal shipments—because we care as much as you do about your new pet arriving safely. This guarantee ensures that your ball python will arrive alive and healthy, as long as the following conditions are met:

To Qualify for the Live Arrival Guarantee:

  1. Your package must be held for pickup at your designated FedEx Hub or Ship Center.
  2. You must open the package at the FedEx location immediately after signing for it, while still at the FedEx hub.

We recommend bringing a photo ID and arriving promptly at the designated pickup time provided in your tracking email. Your package will be clearly labeled and packed with industry-standard insulation and heat/cool packs as needed.

We only ship when safe temperatures allow. If your local or hub weather is too extreme, we’ll work with you to reschedule. We reserve the right to delay shipping based on weather, holidays, or carrier updates to ensure your animal's safety.

Failure to Follow Instructions

If the customer chooses to:

  • Have the package delivered directly to their home instead of holding at the hub, or
  • Take the package off-site before opening it

Then the Live Arrival Guarantee is void. The Live Arrival Guarantee does not cover issues resulting from carrier delays, incorrect addresses, missed pickups, or failure to follow instructions provided prior to shipping. This policy ensures the safety of your animal by avoiding temperature delays, porch theft, or rough handling during final-mile delivery.


What Happens If Something Goes Wrong?

If, despite all precautions, your animal arrives deceased, you must notify us within one hour of pickup with the following:

  • A clear photo of the shipping label
  • Unboxing video or photos showing the animal as received (before handling) at the FedEx hub.
  • Any relevant details about the package condition

We will review your claim promptly and, if all conditions were met, provide either a replacement animal (if available) or a full refund in the form of store credit.
